Germany .- A prankster tried to sell the honours associated with the position of the current President of Germany, Christian Wulff, this Saturday at the auction site eBay. He had posted the honours as second hand under "menswear" and "suits". After few hours there were 36 bids in the auction sold 58.11 Euros. As the site administration closed this auction, it remains unclear to what bid it might have come.
Wulff has faced growing pressure to step down since December, when it emerged that he failed to declare a private loan when he was state premier of Lower Saxony in 2008. He is reported to have received the loan in the form of a 500,000 euro ($636,000) check. [more on dw-world.de]
